“Woven Stories: Native American Basketry of the Pacific Northwest & Alaska” is on exhibit through October 16 at the new Harbor History Museum in Gig Harbor. Considered by several basket collectors as one of the best exhibits on the west coast, more than 230 woven baskets, bags, and hats showcase the artistry of Native American and First Nations weavers. The baskets range in age from the 1850s to the modern era. The museum is located at 4121 Harborview Drive in Gig Harbor. Photo by Al Abbott.
