“I am from: The Faces of the Path with Art,” an exhibition featuring 150 portraits reflecting the lives, struggles, hopes and dreams of Path with Art student artists, is showing through March 29 at the Washington State Convention Center, located at 800 Convention Way. A community reception and tour is scheduled for March 5 from 5:30-7pm. Curator Maria Phillips is a Seattle based artist, instructor and lecturer throughout the United States. Her work is included in the collections of the Museum of Art and Design in New York City, the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington DC and the Tacoma Art Museum, Tacoma, Washington.
A correlating exhibition of Path with Art student portraits, “i am here: The Faces of Path with Art” will be on view at the Seattle Art Museum from February 5th – March 3.
